It is commonly known Louisiana ranks high in the number of ducks harvested each year, many of those ducks are retrieved by professionally trained retrievers.  Black labradors, yellow labradors, and chocolate labradors are used to make duck hunters' lives easier.  Not only are labs good for that but they are excellent family members. What would be the best retriever in Louisiana?  Some say that a small lab would be easier hauled in a boat and or dragged around the marsh in a pereaux.  Marsh Hunt Video
